During the session I feel at peace and grounded. Present and calm, which is not my default setting. Focusing is not automatic, it's a learned behavior, and it gets easier the more times you show up.
I usually come in pretty charged with the stresses of the day. Throughout the session my entire system resets and I find mental stillness. I walk away recharged, patient, and grounded.
The thoughtfulness and intention of the meditation lets me completely focus, and get out of the noise running through my head to be selfishly present, which I need and love. Clarity, empathy, joy, a melting pot of emotions I don't otherwise get to in a day.
Sean's superpower is reminding us what it means to be present, to be in the moment and experience life as it's happening right now.
